West Bridgeford, Nottinghamshire – Bat Survey

A Preliminary Roost Assessment (PRA) was completed at a bungalow in West Bridgeford, for a planning application to add side extensions and a second floor to this property.

At first glance, it appeared that there were gaps in the roof structure which would be suitable for bats to use to access the roof to roost. However, by getting up close with my ladders I was able to confirm that the roof’s modern clip system blocked these gaps and there were no suitable features for bats to roost in.

No further surveys were therefore needed, and the planning for this project has now been granted.

Got a similar project in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, or Staffordshire that needs a bat survey?
